The Democracy Research Network counts on the support of an Academic Advisory Council and its Partners.
This project has research collaborators participating in two different phases of the project:
The first phase was the Andean Democracy Research Network project, involving senior researchers from within the Andean region analyzing the quality of electoral and constitutional democracy in their own countries. Two teams of researchers were organized for each of the six Andean countries (including Chile).
The second phase of the DRN project (encompassing countries beyond the Andean region), involves a group of junior and senior scholars from Latin America researching participatory and representative democracy in Mexico, El Salvador, Brazil, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Uruguay, and Bolivia.
