The Andean Democracy Research Network is a project headed under the auspices of The Centre for the Study of Democratic Institutions (CSDI) in the Department of Political Science at The University of British Columbia.
The ADRN is a network of research collaborators from within Latin America doing research on electoral and constitutional democracy, as well as participatory and representative democracy in the region. The ADRN has the support of an Academic Advisory Council and key Senior Partners.
Initial funding for the pilot project was provided by the Martha Piper Fund and the Glyn Berry Program for Peace and Security in the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Government of Canada. Currently, funding is provided from the Ford Foundation.
The ADRN works under a common methodology and and agreed upon statement of partnership.
